Who we are
We are a Wing Chun club in Sarasota Florida that prides itself on providing traditional Hong Kong and Macau Wing Chun Kung Fu.
We are members of the Ho Kam Ming lineage of Yip Man Wing Chun out of Macau, China. We continue to pass on the art as it was taught to us, handed down from Grandmaster Yip Man.
Our classes are a blend of the traditional Hong Kong teaching style with a more modern approach to curriculum and modern self-defense situations.
Our goal is to preserve and pass on the art of Wing Chun while empowering our members to be stronger and more confident versions of themselves.
Wing Chun SRQ is always open to new practitioners as well as those of other lineages. Wing Chun SRQ seeks to foster a Wing Chun community of growth, learning, and friendship.
Lineage
Topher and Chris are disciples of Rene Ng, Macau, China. Sifu Ng is a disciple of the late master Ho Kam Ming, who is a disciple of the late Wing Chun Grandmaster, Yip Man. They strive to preserve the principles, methods, and techniques they received, presenting the Ho Kam Ming method of Wing Chun Kuen to groups and individuals.
